Volunteering

We want to inform you that, during the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of next September 2024, the 30th ISGF World Conference (International Association of Adult Scouting and Guiding) will be held in Granada (Spain). ; scouts and guides who, after passing through different stages of life, have continued to be active in their commitment to their Promise and the values that characterize us as an organization.

They will be a few days of intense meetings and work days, so we need to have a large group of volunteers to help us in the organization and development of the event.

The days and activities that are being scheduled are:

Days scheduled for the development of the 30th Conference:

Day of exit:

Sunday 15:

Reception of volunteers and accommodation in the cabins of the Ciudad Deportiva de Diputación de Granada in the town of Armilla.

Monday 16:

Assembly of the Scout and Guide Expo and other infrastructure (Stand, banners, masts, etc.)

Preparation of Kits for people registered for the Conference.

Tuesday 17th:

Reception of the participating people and delegations at the arrival points (airports, train and bus stations) and accompaniment to the hotel.

Welcome drink.

Wednesday 18:

Official opening ceremony of the Conference in the Paraninfo of the UGR.

Support for scheduled meetings

Thursday 19:

Support for program meetings

Support for workshops: “Conference Objectives”

Accompaniment Carmen de los Mártires cocktail dinner.

Friday the 20th:

Accompaniment to the scheduled tourist routes: Geopark, Costa Tropical and Alpujarra Granada.

Support Fair of Nations.

Saturday 21st:

Support for plenary meetings.

Philatelic Exhibition Accompaniment.

Closing ceremony.

Sunday 22nd:

Farewell ceremony for volunteering and return home.

NOTE: The selected registrations will be by decision of the Volunteer Coordination Committee until the number of participants required by the organization in its different scheduled activities is reached.
